Second Wind is a strategic retreat for pastors and their spouses (if married) to help discern the impact of their past, their current position and a map for serving in their “sweet spot” in the future. Second Wind is for you if:

Ministry is going well, but you are stuck in some areas.
You are struggling in your current position with conflict, discouragement, burnout and/or emotional wounds.
You are in transition, between roles.

This is delivered at Green Lake Conference Center through:

Providing a Christ-centered, collegial, safe and confidential environment.
Prayerfully and thoroughly evaluating each candidate in a confidential, caring and proficient manner.
Staffing the process with carefully selected, well trained and mature ministry leaders, mental health professionals and Green Lake staff.
Using a comprehensive set of assessments to discern inter and intra personal insights, emotional intelligence, strengths, behavioral styles and marital health that are administered and interpreted by licensed professional counselors. These instruments include ENRICH (PREPARE for engaged couples), Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis (T-JTA), Emotional Quotient-Inventory (BarOn EQ-i), StrengthsFinder 2.0, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Personal Insights Profile DISC.
